Welcome to Mrs. Froggy's long drive, an electric car cross country adventure.

I hope to drive from California to Maine, following Route 66 to Saint Louis and other highways from there. The distance is 3180 miles. I will travel for 30 days. I must average 106 miles each day.

My car is a 2016 Chevrolet Spark, completely electric. It is an "older" version, meaning it can only drive about 50-70 miles each time it is charged. It is equipped with a level 3 charger, so it can fast charge to full in 45 minutes. Let's do the math: 106 divided by 53 is 2. That is two hops each day. Not so bad.
